As a women-led company with culture and our people at the heart of everything we do, Omlie sought out to ask “how might we” create an innovative and compelling career and compensation architecture routed in our values of equity and authenticity. We looked to a trusted partner and HR professional to help us push past the boundaries of the traditional approach to pioneer a new, transparent path ahead.

Leveraged comparison data to understand and design a unique, informed approach

Built a data-based process for updates and positively adjusted team to match philosophy

4. Communicate openly and honestly

Provided transparent updates to the entire organization on the process, impacts, and decisions along the way to build trust

 

Vision Realized:

Put the skunk on the table & up-sized individual compensation where necessary​

Unlocked a “taboo” topic & demonstrated our commitment to equity, fairness, & trust ​

This project demonstrated our culture at work! It was scary to share this level of detail with the entire organization, but we trusted in the research to support our decisions and ultimately built trust across the organization by being so transparent with the process and outcomes.
