TORI HAYER
My Pioneer: Junko Tabei
Junko Tabei was the first woman to Summit Mount Everest. She inspires me because not only did she reach extraordinary heights as a woman and a mother, but she also did it by building up the team around her. She was able to overcome social obstacles by bringing together a strong group of women who were able to embrace both their challenges and weaknesses to have so many successes on the mountain.
This is so important to what we believe at Omlie. We not only embrace the challenge, come up with the strategy, but we believe bringing the team along for the journey is just as important to reach a positive and result.
